Data source creation guide
This guide describes how to create data source definitions and the settings for suitable data operations.
Audience
Board creator
Users who mainly create and edit boards in MotionBoard.
It is presumed that they have knowledge to create, define, and edit data sources (databases) handled on boards as well as knowledge of business process of the department that use the boards. The target audience are systems integrators who are commissioned to create boards from their customers, or users who are familiar with the business process assigned to the department that uses the boards.

How to read topics
The headings for the topic (page) represents the contents of that topic, however, some headings are assumed to be used in multiple topics so they may not exactly match the contents of that topic. The following explains the headings and their meanings.
Title
The title of the topic.
Prerequisites
It shows the knowledge, condition, state, environment, etc. necessary for the operations written in the topic. You need to confirm that all prerequisites are satisfied before starting operation. In particular, if the prerequisite that is linked to the other topic is not satisfied, you may not be able to perform the operation to the end. Please read the topic of the link destination first to obtain knowledge, make necessary settings, and meet the conditions.
Procedure
The operations and explanations necessary to realize the purpose represented in the title of the topic. We provide the shortest operation procedure as possible to achieve it, and put multiple procedures of easy operations into one step. At the end of the procedure, we have included a step to check if you have achieved the purpose. Information that is not relevant to the title is excluded.
Example
Examples of setting and execution according to operation procedure. If there is a topic with more detailed explanation, a link to that topic is placed.
Notes and supplementary information
Information that you should know or useful about the topic.
Related information
Links to pages with information related to the topic.
Screen items
A set of a screen image and a table to explain the screen items. This is used in topics that describe screen items. In the screen image, each area of screen items is surrounded by the red frame with marked by (A), (B), etc. This mark is used in the title of table of the screen items of the area.

Method to display the screen indicated in the title. This is used in topics that describe screen items. If there are multiple methods, we provide one that is more frequently used or less steps.
